Lynn joined the parent company in 2006 as Co Director when the company expanded its customer base beyond the automotive sector. The business was first introduced to Alfie through their close relationship with Coleg Sir Gar in Llanelli where Alfie was a Level 3 Computing student. At that time he was also preparing to participate in the 2017 World Skills competition in Abu Dhabi as the chosen representative for the United Kingdom. Alfie almost immediately begun working with Chris on POET on a part time basis and on his return from Abu Dhabi he joined the business on a full time basis. Alfie is currently finalising his studies for his Bsc in Applied Software Engineering at Swansea University.
Chris was the first software developer to join the company in 2017 when the development of POET commenced. He begun software coding and front end design as a child but initially begun studying for an Accounting & Economics degree. It wasn’t long before he realised his passion was with software which was when he went on to study for his BSc in Software Engineering. Chris’ other interest is in marketing and branding which is great for POET as he is often able to apply this knowledge to the overall development of the software platform.
